The Revolver Optic Conversion (R.O.C.) allows for the process of modifying a revolver to accept a red dot sight (RDS). Traditionally revolvers have been equipped with iron sights but the trend in recent years is to adapt them to modern sighting systems such as red dot optics to improve accuracy speed of target acquisition and overall performance.
