Griffin Armament is proud to introduce DUAL-LOK the newest QD mounting system for rifle suppressors. The DUAL-LOK system is comprised from two parts the DUAL-LOK Mount and the DUAL-LOK muzzle device (of your choice). The muzzle device integrates 60 machined mounting position grooves which is doubled by the mount’s two locking positions hence the double entendre DUAL-LOK. The mounts’ two locking positions are machined out of phase of one another by 3 degrees which provides the 120 effective locking positions and ensures a tightly mounted and locked suppressor. When the suppressor is installed only one of the two positions will generally function by allowing the spring to push the locking collar rearward over the splines. Constructed of 17-4 PH stainless steel the DUAL-LOK Minimalist Brake has a wear resistant baffle that increases suppressor service life. Additionally the brake features compensating ports that help reduce muzzle climb while assisting in reducing felt recoil. The Minimalist Brake weighs 2.6 ounces and is less than an 1.5″ long adding minimal weight and length compared to that of most competing suppressor mounts. The lighter weight reduces suppressor system weight while making the host firearm barrel lighter and more responsive to the shooter. Each brake comes with a shim set for timing.
